The ED Turbo Charger regulates the current/voltage using a 6-pulse thyristor bridge. This produces a more even current and a better form factor. The charger regulates according to the IUIa principle and always charges the battery with the correct current throughout the entire charging process. ("Just In Current").
Using Turbo charging and Trakair we make pause charging effective while at the same time the battery is protected against the negative effects of electrolyte stratification and temperature increases. 2 and 3 shift operations with a battery are therefore possible. During top-up charging the battery is charged at low current so that gassing and heat generation are minimized. The RM2 method ensures that the battery is 100% charged each time irrespective of how much the battery was discharged.
